Who am I? To be honest, I’m the kind of person who assumes that question is a deep and existential one. Let me resist the temptation to answer my question and answer the one you probably were asking in the first place.
I am a author, a karate teacher, and a web and print designer. I’ve done some professional teaching and probably more than my share of formal education.
I read avidly and write the occasional GoodReads and amazon.com review.
I have a Facebook author page an Amazon.com author page, and a GoodReads author page. If we’re friends in real life, friend me on my personal Facebook page. You’ll find it here.
If you’re looking for articles I’ve written, here’s a good place to start.
I like cooking, gardening, cats, playing Irish whistle, Tai Chi, movies that make me a better person, and computer Scrabble. Current research obsessions include the mind-body connection, gardening and permaculture, and the difference between real food and the simulated food-like substances that most of us eat on a daily basis.
The photo, by the way, is me in my natural habitat– at the lake with book, whistle, and hammock.
